Led by trained instructors who have personally navigated similar challenges, this program covers a range of mental health conditions, including major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and others, while incorporating the latest research insights and treatment options. Participants emerge with a tailored relapse prevention plan and tools to create their own Advance Directive for Mental Healthcare Decision Making. The course emphasizes essential life skills such as problem-solving, communication, and crisis management, bolstering resilience and reducing stigma through shared experiences. Provided free of charge and with utmost confidentiality, NAMI Peer-to-Peer offers an inclusive space for any adult living with mental illness to access comprehensive support and recovery resources.
