The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army gives a helping hand to the less fortunate, as the needy struggle to have adequate food and shelter.  Nearly three thousand times during the year, families will apply for food from the Salvation Army’s food pantry or for emergency shelter, transportation, clothing or they may even walk into the office with a shut off notice from the utility supplier and needing help to keep the lights and heat on.  The Salvation Army stands ready to assist in the struggles of our area’s people as they try to make ends meet.
