A Foundation in Conscious Discipline

At Lily Pad Learning Center, we proudly integrate the Conscious Discipline program, developed by Dr. Becky Bailey, into all of our programs, from infants to school-age children. This approach focuses on teaching children essential social-emotional skills through guidance, kindness, gentleness, and respect. Instead of punishment, Conscious Discipline emphasizes providing clear expectations and redirection, fostering an empathetic environment, and responding to challenging behaviors with patience. By creating a space where everyone feels valued and heard, we help children build self-esteem and positive social interactions, all while learning to regulate their emotions in a supportive, nurturing setting.
