Dogtown TV Show

DogTown is a compelling documentary-style TV series originally aired on the National Geographic Channel, showcasing the dedicated efforts of the staff and volunteers at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Over four seasons, the series highlighted the rehabilitation and adoption journeys of dogs, including those rescued from adverse conditions. Notably, the second season featured the rehabilitation of dogs from Michael Vick's dogfighting ring. The show was later rebranded as Dog Town, USA and broadcast on the CW Television Network.

Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, a leading nonprofit organization, operates the nation's largest sanctuary for homeless animals, focusing on adoption, spay/neuter, and educational programs with a goal to achieve a no-kill nation by 2025.
