The Criminal Justice Institute at Valencia College offers the Equivalency of Training (EOT) Program, designed for former or current out-of-state law enforcement officers aiming to achieve Florida Law Enforcement Certification. Eligible participants must have at least one year of full-time law enforcement experience, excluding time spent in academy training. Applicants are required to submit a completed FDLE Form CJSTC-76, documenting their law enforcement employment and training history. The program facilitates the transition into law enforcement roles within Florida, directly servicing numerous agencies in Orange and Osceola Counties.
